And yes hiding and surviving was all the character could do in this song, which is why I felt words were superfluous.

This was an event in the "Great War" - "the war to end all wars" - they didn't know it then that there would be another, and this would be relegated by history books to the "First World War".

There's a whole heap of originality and skill in this. I'm not sure why you'd want to hide it away, because most of us enjoy diverse musical excursions on here. It's impossible to categorise, but it's a very clever arrangement that all works. The stabbing string rhythm made me think a little of Eleanor Rigby, which is no bad thing. Great stuff!
