I feel a bit like a newbie :P
Although I have posted loads of backing track jams.......

I have finally done it! :D
Played and recorded an original
(I even created the drum track from scratch)
Guitar Synth- fretless Bass
Guitar Synth- Rock Organ
Lead and Rhythm guitar and vox

I wanted to create a live late 60's rock vibe
Think Early Deep Purple or Black Sabbath 8)

Satchwood

Great song Mike ~ kind of Deep Purple meets ZZ Top.!.!.  Cool raspy vocals and smooth guitar!  Def got a late 60s or early 70s vibe.,.,.

Oh yess...

I just found this guitar synth of yours over in backing track jams just now... and I was thinking "well if it was me... I'd be experimentifying with organ sounds as well..."

And here it is. :D

This is excellent. I am so glad you've started doing more vocals (since last time I was listening months back, anyway...) - they just fit perfect in here.

It's got the vibe you were after.

More, we want more :)

EDIT: My PC's playing up - is it me or does the track stop abruptly when one was expecting it to "go off on one"? Is there more?

Congrats Mike, this is a first class piece. You have captured your own sound, and turned it into a reality. Fantastic job! This is an excellent fully developed piece of music, and left me wanting more when it was done.

Mike, so good to hear this, this is all you, this is a reflection of your soul.  I like this big time.  You are right about the live feel late 60's.  This is so retro its metro, its like cool to be new again, its so cool sounding it could be a huge song in todays music scene.   Very good job Mike, lets have another.

Okay, please explain to me how you did those drums. That's killer right there. And is your throat sore after that? Man it sounds rough but in a totally cool way. You've done an excellent job here.

-- Yeah it cuts off right when you think the big solo is gonna kick in.It'd be great to hear the extended jam version.

Love it. A great retro-feel and some outstanding instrumentation (I'm loving those organ stabs). Magnificent guitar work too - as we'd expect! The big suprise here is the vocal. You're REALLY singing this. Confidence, conviction and style!

Here's to more 48 originals!

p.s. it did end very abruptly...
