Got inspiration to do this while at the cabin yesterday.

One 12-string EKO acoustic guitar
One 6 string Morgan acoustic guitar
One Ibanez (I think ... label almost fallen off :D ) classical guitar

the two 6-stringers doubling as drums ;D

i'm not a big fan of dire straits i find them a bit to clinical but you sure have added a big does of humanity to this, that i can connect with.

maybe i should go back and listen to dire straits again, perhaps my punk side prejudiced me towards them.

you have an awesome talent geir, no matter what instrument you use, but its that voice that gets me everytime. its one powerful instrument.

Geir , your vocal range amazes me!!  How you can go from this low raspy vox to the high vox on"The Monster Song" - AWESOME!!!

Geir,

Great cover.  Simply amazing.  I think you got Knopfler's vocals down to a t and the guitars were fantastic.

Wonderful cover of Dire Straits! You put your own style to it.
It sounds very good, your vocals are amazing, and I love your solo, alterning rythm and single notes. The rythmicpart  sounds a bit like JJ Cale.
Excellent!!! (and I'm a fan of Dire Straits...)
