I've got a green little monster
that's hiding in my bed
It smells like the monkey
that's hiding in my shed

I gotta take it out
give it some air
cut it's claws
and trim it's hair

buy it a suit
spray it with some "Brut"
everyone will see
that it's so cute

I gotta let it go
you know
cut it's chains
and let the bastard grow

gonna set it free
so everyone can see
that the little green monster is a durti little bastard
that can put a scare in Bruce Lee

Sheryl Crow
ahhh ... would like to know
if the durty little monster gonna stay at home
or come to watch her show

The little green monster
is on the run and looking for some fun
it's heading for the beach
abd it's gonna get some sun

The Monster's brother is a mean mother
and won't let it be alone
he'll eat a little kitten
and get some shit and start stalking Sharon Stone

He don't care
if the air
smells like shit he'll just get a flare
and burn away his nose

the Monsters got a cow
I don't know how
they drink it's milk and spit out some cheese
and then they take a bow

I had a little monster
hiding in my bed
now it's gone and I'm on my own
I think I want some red

beer or wine
either will do fine
I can't remember
did I commit a crime?

Blimey!  Have I got a comment in first Geir?  Great song, love the solo, especially the use of the whammy.  This site has really made me listen more to lyrics.  Can you still buy Brut?  And it's beer for me - red wine sets the gout off!

Yeah children's books that will scare the hell out of the little children.

I get a real Led Zeppelin vibe from this.  The vocals, your voice is a few keys lower than Mr. Plant, but the phrasing really puts me in mind of his singing style.  That monster riff is right out of a Page playbook.  I have to say it is freaky cool, hard on rock, with a twist of the spook.  Nice one Geir, the final of the monkey trilogy or is there more monkey business to come.  You are digging deep lately for sure.
