Hi again.

I've not been here for a while.  Long story - very boring.
This is a track I wrote on the Alesis Micron Synthesizer.  I'm still finding my way with that machine but any feedback regarding how I can improve the sound quality is appreciated (it was recorded with Reaper).
And thanks to Jim - oldrottenhead - for telling me how to link from Soundclick.

Thanks for listening

MKE - Well I've just listened to your composition through headphones via a laptop, and I have to say that there was absolutely nothing at all wrong with the sound quality.  :)
You are obviously a competent writer, player and producer of your music, and the piece itself was engaging in a moodily atmospheric way. I could see this used in noir videos depicting night streets. And therein I think is a question that only you can answer, where exactly do you see your music being best suited? Is it possible for lyrics to be added to this? What about adding this track to a video yourself? There is certainly a wealth of scope for this type of music, good luck with your future endeavours.

I'm listening on headphones, and the sound quality sounds fine! As long as you're exporting songs in WAV or 192kbps MP3 formats, there's not much more you can do really. This has a good trippy and ambient groove. It sounds like cinematic soundtrack material to me. I like the way it builds and shifts. Great stuff.

Hi Mike.

Just listened over phones and monitors (Roland DS5s) and I can't hear too much wrong with the sound quality.  Was there anything specific you think was missing?  Presumably you've fiddled with EQ to get what you wanted?

As the others have said the piece would be very well suited to use on a film/tv soundtrack.  Quite how you get a foot into that area sadly I have no idea.  Let me know if you find out as I'd like a piece of the action!   ;)
