This is me trying out the Behringer Vintage Bass pedal (the same one Flash got for his birthday...). It has a great retro funk fuzz thing going on. It was just a bit of a test run, but then I added some vintage synth and a whole song was born.

There are a few sound fx added in Audacity, including a bit of speech from Kraftwerk's Ralf Hutter.

Just a bit of fun  :)

I visited three three amazing caves in the Peak district a few weeks ago. The lyrics come from that. My favourite was Peak Cavern. This is the entrance:

There was a whole community of ropemakers who lived in this cave. It's so big that there was a row of cottages in there.

Another enjoyable song Tim. Great use of effects and really nicely produced - as your stuff always is.

I'm pretty certain I've been to those caves.  Is it the one with the bloody great big lake in it?  Mind you I've been to a few caves in the Peak District and, come to think of it, most of them have quite a lot of water in them so I guess that doesn't narrow it down much!  I'm rambling....

Whatever - its a good tune.

Cool! The bass reminds me of Gary Wright ("Love is Alive", "Dream Weaver", etc).

Love this one, some real vintage keyboard sounds on this. Well planned and thought through and cool bass line. (Are you going to let Flash have VB1 back?? Does he know it's missing yet??)
