Another original composition and much-played live favourite of mine -

'Another Drinking Song'.

I wrote it when I was told I'd f*cked my liver through enjoying the booze too much. Luckily, the liver is the only organ that can repair itself, so I'm almost back to normal (whatever that is...).

The acoustic guitar is a Takamine 12-string recorded through the in-built mic (which allowed a some simultaneous backing vocals without using another track).

4-Track again.

Hope you like.

Cool song and atmosphere, i know that this is not the collaboration area but i'd like to add a bass guitar line if you want.

Saludos, Marcelo.

Sounds good. I'm more than happy to add it onto the collaboration thread if you come up with something. It's all standard tuning, but the guitars are capo'd at the 4th fret (if that helps...).

Thanks! The acoustic is recorded on the in-built mic using the 'VO Comp' effect patch. One of the best things about the BR (for me) is it's ability to get a good acoustic sound through the mic. Much better than the flat electro-acoustic tone you get through a lead.

It's a 12-string takamine though - a nice full sound, but only works in certain contexts and in certain songs.

Oldrottenhead

did you know you can change the effects for the inbuilt mic, or any input, to the guitar effects i often use stclean guitar effect for a trippy vocal sound.. to change press effects then using the left cursor press it till it goes to mc, then press - value to change to gt, then use the right cursor to go the number of the effect then use the value button to pick an effect.
does that make sense?
