So, Giacomino, is the title of this song "Ossimore"?

i put ossimore through babelfish translated from italian to english it came up ossimore so i am none the wise

James, it's not Italian, it comes from ancient Greek terms "oxùs" (smart) and "moròs" (silly).

I thought ossimore was the English equivalent, since in Italy we say "ossimoro"...

It's a word that you can use when you have to do, in the same situation, with two terms in a strong, even "impossible" contrast between them...for instance "silent cry", "original copy" are ossimores...in this case, you sing that you don't know what to sing...

i used one (an oxymoron )  in in my dream "a silent whisper" well a whisper is quiet but not silent so am sure it counts

Google Translate says ossimore is Italian for oxymoron.

I have both Babel Fish and Google Translate bookmarked because often one will give more meaningful results than the other. So I usually check them both.
