Give Me Five - Song A Week - 2010 - 20

This is a great song. Such a killer chorus. My son used to do that 'too slow' move on me, lol. The words to this are very clever, and very poignant. It's classic storytelling, with the chorus as a constant hook that changes meaning depending on the context of the verse before. Damn, it's good. I like it as an acoustic song, but I can imagine that a collab with Black Mary might take it somewhere pretty cool!

Another great track, love that chorus, love to hear the collab to see where this one goes.

I enjoyed this one a lot - I could see it being adapted for the kiddies. A kid anthem!  8)

I'm also in awe of your weekly songwriting commitment and the consistently high quality level of work. Well done, T.C.!  :)

Nice song, nice story and like everyone else I'm amazed you can still produce so much quality work. It's well recorded and played as well - that acoustic sounds great and your vox are spot on as always.

Cheers,

Quote from: T.C. Elliott (PF Jr) on May 18, 2010, 10:39:15 AMOf course. Do you want me to re-record to a click? Or do you wanna do a whole new version? Either way is fine with me.
This is a fine version T.C. I'll try and do it justice. PS Aplogies for any misunderstandings. My fault. I don't make myself very clear after a drink :(

Another great song T.C., you just crank them out one after another and they are all real solid songs, I don't know how you do it but keep it up. Vocals on this one are great and I really like the chorus. Nice work on the lyrics it gives an interesting perspective.
