Sai;
I hope you plan on posting the finished work when the drums are on. This is a real treat.
Very talented young people!

I'd be impressed if this were a cover, but the fact that they WROTE this takes it to a whole new level of talent. There is some amazing musical promise here. I hope they have the passion to use this talent to it's full potential, because they definitely have something.

Major talent in songwriting here.  Catchy tune.  Easily better than most of what is on the radio.  Nice mix for something recorded live.

Wow this sounds great.!.!.  Great new original song !  `Love the singing and guitar work ~ fantastic job!!  They certainly have that `Sai-blood-talent!

I agree that the vocals get a little lost in the mix when the guitars really get strumming, so maybe you can bring them up in the mix or just double them up.

Wow. So I saw the poster and had very high expectations. Then I saw the liner notes and had very low expectations. I'm happy to report that I really liked this. Timing wasn't awful, just a stutter in a spot or two. I'm very glad you posted this.

Wow, what pure and natural talent! I would much rather hear this style of arrangement any day of the week. You just can't engineer and process something this good.

Even some of the best artists are all over the place tempo and timing wise - This song is actually tighter than a couple of my favorite tunes. I truly believe you lose something musically if you try to get to technical. The best you can do at the moment is sometimes the best it will ever be, even if you technically nail a better take later.

Anyway, I love this! I really feel the power here.

They didn't win... They didn't even place top three (which in my unbiased opinion they should have AT LEAST been top three).

They don't have a name right now. They have just been going my Nick & Jade.  heh

At 15, Jade is already against the whole "overly processed" bands and pop stuff. She about had a heart attack when I told her how most modern studios record nowadays. She was so dead set against "building" a song, that when she messed up a part, she wanted to do the whole track over again so that it wouldn't lose its dynamics.

Nick has been playing for almost 2 years. But this is really the first time that he has played with others. I too like the dynamics of playing without a click track and having the timing a little more organic. The only time it becomes a problem is when laying additional tracks.

All in all, they got the bug and they are spending almost all their free time playing now. ;)
