Accomplished piece of keybord fretmanship. Wow. Thought you were heading for the 3 fates at the start, then it all changed. I can only aspire to your skill. Respect

Wow, at first I feel like I'm floating away, then it totally changes feelings back and forth... can't even explain. Very creative, and beautiful!

This is beautiful.  Talent, dude!  What are the plans to further develop this?  Vocals?

In my opinion Satch this ain't long enough.
your touch on the keys is perfect. the composition magical.
when you brought in the strings it was goosebump time.
Just Brilliant

Thank you kind friends for these wonderful comments !!  This song is sure easier on the ears then my War iU song lol...

I'm still not sure where to take this next.  I've got 3 or 4 projects going now that need part 2 or part 3....

For some reason, i can't punch-in/out to fix any piano errors.  I have no problem doing this with guitar songs and even vocals, but i just can't punch-in on any of my piano tunes and make it sound right....

Has anybody successfully done this on a piano/keyboard piece or section?  Is there a special trick?  i can do it with fine results on my guitar stuff...

Hi Tommy,

I find that if there are any sustaining or legato notes, then a punch in/out will usually leave an unwanted gap of silence. Other than doing the entire track over again, I've found that a few things can help:

  • Punch in or out at a quiet or more staccato point (this often works well)
  • Set up an A:B automated punch in/out, and then also play along with the parts before and after the punch (sometimes this works, but there may still be a punch glitch)
  • If all else fails, re-do the track (this may be painful)

Hope it helps,
cuth
