Hi All. A little while ago I pasted a song that my friend Nigel who lives in the states composed and put together. I put on a fairly laid back lead break but he wanted a slightly heavier lead track this i've just done, i personally think the song stands up by itself without any need for guitar work so I would value your opinion. The lead it a great addition! But it stood as it was as well!

Great either way!

This is special. The descending guitar chords really got me! Liking the rough-edged vocal and the sing-a-long backing vocals very much too. You've captured a beautiful acoustic tone on the main guitar part. So many good things! It's already stuck in my head.

Wonderful.

A good song and the lead guitar works realy well for me.  It's well played yet not overstated at all.  My only suggestion would be perhaps to take the lead down just marginally in the mix.

But I'm nitpicking of course.  It's great.

Yeah more acoustic. The lead works great.Would love to hear an acoustic lead. That's just my opinion tho. Luv the Syd Barrett kinkyness about this.
 Thank you :)

I would like to hear this with an acoustic lead but this electric one works great. I agree that the electric could be down a hair (or two) in the mix. I really liked the song from a songwriting perspective. Is this a precursor for pirate-fest? It sounds like it could fit right in.

Pretty tune - is there a flute in there?  Maybe a keyboard as well - there are nice touches all through this song - the vocal samples work well - it all works together to create a peaceful, thoughtful sort of soundscape

There are only 12 notes, how hard can it be?....
