This is a song ;) that's a part of my "conceptual continuity". For those of you that have been kind enough to listen to my music the past year will hear elements from many of my previously posted songs.

Lyrics I had almost ready when I wrote and recorded this one last night. Was alone at the cabin so I had some quality recording time.

I loved every second of it Geir, including that hi-end recorder work! outstanding vocals. You make it all sound so effortless.

Geir, this is wonderful. I love the chord sequence in the verse and the lovely vox (great use of doubling the vocal). And the change at 1:28 is fantastic - it just made me think of huldra and elves dancing around some misty forest clearing. Love the flute/recorder and even some mandolin (I think) in there!!

There's more of that lovely bass playing. You are getting really good on that, it really adds to the lyrical feel. Great Norwegian prog-folk! I must add that it's very nicely recorded as well. excellent balance of the instruments and vox, nothing I would change at all.

Cheers,

Nigel

Awesome! Another winner right there! Love the change and the chord progression is great! I think your voice sounds best in this style too!

A real banquet of sounds going on here and love the way it changes through the various movements.  All the vocals and stringed instruments sound great, and the recorder... and I assume the drums are via the D16?  Nice job of programming... with a good, live feel.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Thanks guys !! I had fun doing this one ... bass was really fun, thanx Nigel for noticing, I do try improving my bassplaying and not sound like a "guitarbassist".

nope ... it's on my wish-list ... but for now a capo have to do .... it's just my Morgan 6-string and the uke as acoustic stringed instruments on this one.

Oh, I love this, bro!!

You really know how to paint a picture with a song. Took me a while to get it to download and I couldn't wait to hear it.

That bass line about halfway through the song is awesome. After hearing that I might be out of a job!

Beautiful. I Love it!!
