For my sins I listen to radio Five live most of the day as I drive about, and on Victoria Derbyshire,s programme which is on between 10 and 12, she was looking for songwriters to post their England world cup songs.
I,m obviously barred from this cause I,m Scottish.
She played three songs which where sent to her and I know that some of you England fans here could do better job.
If you go the BBC Five Live web site and look for her name I sure you,ll find a link to send your Mp3.

 Good Luck hope to hear one of your tunes, but the telly will turned off if your team wins the world cup.

Thanks for the heads-up! Hm... I love football, but I have a funny aversion to football songs (apart from Chas and Dave's efforts for Spurs - that's different, lol). It would be interesting to try to write one though. I think I'd turn the formula on it's head and write a miserable dirge about how they're going to let us down - just like always. Hey... there's the title: 'Just like always'.

France's world cup song is already on air. Two really funny guys did it. I don't think it's official, but now it's done and they'll have troubles to sell us another one !
lyrics start with "buy a rooster and a beret..."
It's  a good idea to let  them sing the world cup song, because I think that the team is also going to make us laugh
