Great cover Tim, i like your singing style & phrasing on this!!  Your guitar sounds great on this as well!

Billy definitely knew what he was writing about when he penned this one lol

Billy is my all time favorite song writer.  I saw him live in '96 and loved it.

I'd love to see you perform live.  Your vox, phrasing, and playing have a wonderful style that's all your own.  Thanks for posting this one. ;D
Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

this is absolutely first -rate... great version  of this song!

(tiny point--I'm wondering if the second half of the bridge has slightly different chords then the first half, tho?)

Never a huge billy joel fan-- and it's interesting,  I always thought that Billy Joel had as his inspiration for this song two seperate Bob Dylan songs- "She belongs to me" (from 'bringing it all back home) and Just like a woman (from blonde on blonde).

meanwhile, really fantastic cover of this- great vocal, tasteful guitar track(s), really well done!!

Sounds like some of your chord changes are a bit different than BJ's original, especially in the bridge, but that's OK.  You did a fine job with this, Greeny!  A refreshing acoustic guitar version.  Nice vocal work too.
