Bummer,., having some serious "DISK BUSY" errors today, that are totally overwhelming me.... seriously.... just bought new Sandisk 2G SD cards....and having problems....

So I hope i didn't totally butcher Part Dos of this delightful original:

"Once Upon A Dream"  Words and Music by T. Satchwood..

Once upon a dream, you were there
The sound of music, it filled the air
All my friends were there with me
I felt the love and it set me free

Once upon a dream,  you just stare
Liquid Light and Love were there
All my loved ones are here with me
I felt the Love and it set me free

We danced in the light and it felt like rain
Swimming in sound, feeling no pain
Angels and demons were spreading their cheer
      Touching lives, maybe a tear

      Once upon a dream
      Once upon a dream
      Once upon a dream....

(solo)

Once upon a dream (once upon a dream)
Once upon a dream (once upon a dream)
      Once upon a dream....
Once upon a dream (once upon a dream {whispered})
Once upon a dream (once upon a dream {whispered})

Spoken: "Once upon a dream you were there...."

I like how you held back the rhythm-and-rippin' for a long time.  It had me thinking that this song wasn't going to be a rocker.  And then WOW!  Those chord changes were really powerful, and the soloing really took dramatic advantage of them.

One the production: The vocals and drums seemed very low in the mix.  I'd have liked to hear the rhythm guitar doubled over on the right side.  The guitar made the first part of the song  lopsided to the left.  The synth was perfect: not to loud or soft in the mix, but a good supporting role.

Getting that operatic feel too, usual top class guitar work, and the vox really suit this style a great listen.

The word epic keeps being used, and quite rightly. This really is an epic. There's so much dramatic intensity in the composition and performance. Masterful in every way, and the solo is in a different league. Wow!

Thank you all so kindly for the much appreciated feedback ~ wonderful comments!!

Funny thing is, i still have 2 more verses to the song...hmmm.  I think there may be a part 3 in the works.

I agree Ted, i do need to raise the volume on the drums, and, well, maybe the vocals...

This is the first time that I used MBR drums and then played over them with my keyboard percussion drum kits...triangle, cymbols, drum rolls, etc.  That was kind of fun to do.

This is the first time i used up all the virtual tracks, but several of them were becoming corrupted or something, when I kept getting DISK BUSY.  I even backed the ROLAND folder to my PC, re initialized the SD card and then re-loaded.

I guess I will now call this song: "Once Upon a Dream, Reloaded"  lol
