I thought that too until I looked it up on Wikipedia and found that it was first released on his 1989 Freedom album which included two versions - one electric and one acoustic.

does that mean that if I switch the vocaltracks on "Hey Hey My My" and "My My Hey Hey" I have one for the unplugged and one for the plugged-in fest?

I'm almost 50 - and been a Neil fan since he was in Buffalo Springfield. I know know he did a plugged in version, but this version uses different chords (D - E - F for the verses and A - C - D for the chorus) and I changed the chorus a little bit.

Does that mean this cover song don't count for the contest? If so I will delete it and rock the beans out of something else

As I said above, this song was originally released in two versions - electric and acoustic. So your cover qualifies for the Plugged-In Fest. No need to delete.
