Greasemonkey/Better Loopy: Cool Firefox Plugin for Practicing

I'm trying to learn a bass part by watching someone's hands on a YouTube video. I want to be able to loop a certain section of the performance so I can play it again and again while I'm learning the piece.

Here's what I found:

Greasemonkey

Allows you to customize the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript.

Hundreds of scripts, for a wide variety of popular sites, are already available at http://userscripts.org.

And one of those scripts is called...

Better Loopy for YouTube

Besides the small 'Loop' button below the Youtube video to play it again and again (if you want only this, see the discussion: http://userscripts.org/topics/49953), you will also find three text boxes below it. For looping a given video within only a specific time duration (you need that many times don't you?), just write the start time and end times in this format:

minutes:seconds

e.g. out of a 10 minutes video if you want to loop only its part from 1:32 to 8:46 you can do that. Just Enter these values in Start time, End time and press 'Set'. If any of them is blank, the default start time is taken as zero and end time is the end of video.

First you install Greasemonkey, then you install Better Loopy.

Problem solved!
