Okay, this time I think I got the tambourine under control.  A couple of important notes about the
Micro Boss:  a) When the SD card gets full (less than 10 minutes or so remaining), it ceases to function well -- you get "disk busy" errors which can halt your recording session or seriously compromise it.  b) The volume dial on the side is in fact the master volume. Better to set it once and not touch it than to keep changing it between listening to your work and laying down new tracks. You can change the level of a track in the software as you bounce or master, but those percentages are of the master volume control. This also means you might want to get a pair of 'phones with their own volume  control, if you're doing acoustic music and need good volume from your mic input.

wow, quite the impressive bit of writing there! sounds like you've been absorbing 16th-18th century folk and classical forms and you know your way around counterpoint and all that stuff- great job!

and the tambourine's a nice touch, btw!

This is Superb!

As genuine as it gets without a time machine!

Love it!

With the Card read problems, try working with only one project on the card at a time (presuming you are using the original card)...

Back up old data on a computer then initialize the card before starting. Will work like a dream.

Excellent recorder work. The tambourine does sit nicely in the mix.

Listening to this, I picture old pirates drinking grog at night on the boat and dancing drunken gigs. (right before the military sloop arrives with thundering cannons).

Well done, good recording quality too. Very nice indeed. Makes me want to finally get that old clarinet repaired and cleaned and put some mileage on it.

Dude, I wish if I could say I wrote it. Etienne du Tertre was a 15th century Parisian composer. It was **written** in the 16th century.  I just played the sheet music.

I wonder if there is a statute of limitations before something can be considered a cover? I don't care much, because this is ridiculously good, and enjoyable to listen to.
