Have you tried remaking a song completely? An interesting exercise.
I posted this song a short while ago as a more rockish song, done to a rhythm backer I found called "Mean what you say".
I realized I couldn't play it live as a result of the arrangement. It just didn't work in the coffee house.
So I did this version. An Unplugged version.
A much more laid-back sort of nightclub jazzy/bluesy.
All MBR, 4 trax straight to master, no bouncing.
"Piano" is the GR20 Git-synth. (The toughest part)
Hope you like it.

I have a few song that I know I NEED to remake, and I mean from scratch, and I don't look forward to it.

You did an incredible job with this though. I like this a lot. The progression is nice, good piano fills, and the overall feeling to this is very good. Now I need to listen to original to compare, but based of a cursory look so far, I haven't found it yet. ;)

Thanks

Thanks everyone,
SM, It is under the backing track jams because of the backer content.

Hmmm... Now I am unsure which one I like better. your guitar work is badass on the first. Great runs and excellent tone. But I love the overall feeling on this one. You voice much more clear and has more feeling. I feel the song more. And for that reason alone, I think this one is pretty damn awesome.
