micro br card errors, replacement ?

Hi,

I have a Micro BR for 4 weeks now and I'm also getting the card read errors with 4 songs on it and a couple of mp3s. After reading the suggestions here, I created a backup and reinitialized the card, the restored the backup. Same problem. I have 2 cards, a Sandisk 2GB (Class II) and a PNY 1GB which work perfectly on the computer. The problem occurs with both cards.

Then I re-initialized both cards in the BR and just copied a single mp3 to the fresh initialized card. When I play the mp3 on the BR, I get card read errors after 1:30 to 2:00 of playback on both cards. I've tried different mp3 files as well, always the same problem.

I love the Micro BR so far and would like to keep it, but the card issues make it pretty much unusable for me.

Should I get a high speed card or has anyone tried to get a replacement device from BOSS because of the card read errors ?

Cheers,

keelson

ok, sorry for not searching the forums enough. I was not aware, that mp3 encoding could be causing the problem.
So I used audacity to re-encode all mp3 files (192kbit. 44100 mhz) from my backup and put them on the micro br.
Voila! no more card read errors

Cheers
