I'm lucky in the fact that my Tanglewood solid mahogany electro-acoustic has a beautiful natural sound. This is all through the guitar lead, with the effects switched off. I could have made it a bit more 'live' by mixing it with some mic input, but I liked the clean sound the lead-only method produced for this song.

This sounds great Tim. From the opening line "Well the stars seems bright tonight but its just the flouresent light" to the end it is an amazing song. Nice clean sound on the acoustic gtrs, i like the bass work it sounds like lead riffs on the bass. Vocals are wonderful and are sung with a lot of emotion, harmonies are spot on. Chord progression works well and builds to the chorus, lyrics are full of images " my shame lies naked on the floor". Its not a song about being drunk but rather what cause you to drink, nice job not to let it go in the comedy direction. Great piece of work Tim. When a song grabs your attention with just acoustic, bass, drums and vocals and is not layerd with a bunch of other things then it is a real good song because it stands on its own. Well thats my opinion anyway.

Another great song - reminds me a little bit of squeeze in places, think you've got some very strong melodies - once again great track
