This is an old open-mic and live favourite of mine. It always seems to capture the attention and imagination of drunks in a pub  :D

I've recorded several versions of this over the last 2 or 3 years, but have never managed to capture it quite right. This feels like I've done it justice now though. It's just two layers of acoustic plus bass, vocals and MBR drums. I tried to keep it fairly simple to be true to how it sounds live.

It's not a comedy song. In fact, it came from a pretty bad time and place.

*sigh* that's another unreleased album done, lol..............................

Drunk on the Bathroom Floor
Words and Music by Tim Green, 2006. This version Recorded on an MBR, April 2010. Guitars, vox and bass by Tim Green

Ferryman_1957

It sounds lovely. Great combination of guitars and I love the high bass line parts. As always the vox sound great and the emotion comes through very clear. I bet it goes down well live. The production is nice and clear, you really have a great understanding of the MBR and always turn out consistently great sounding work.

Another album done? You are too prolific by half. And you continue to amaze me that your stuff doesn't sound "samey". You can always tell it's you, but you never get repetitive.

Cheers,

Nigel

What Nigel said (I don't think there's a song I couldn't say that :D )

But this sounds almost too good with regards to the title of the song ;D

Seriously, a great song Tim, and this version is just stellar !!

Excellent song. Quite a reminder of times past ( thank goodness ). If I were to describe the production, I'd say as close to perfect as it should be.
