this is an old favourite of mine that i rediscovered last week courtesy of youtube. its a bit of a mess as the drums where done near the end. its also the first outing for my bass guitar which a friend kindly gave me when he discovered i didnt own one. was done in a mad rush as i had to go to a party last night so is very punk in that its badly played mixed et al.

when i get some time i want to do it properly, doing the drum track first might help things on that score.

enough already.

That's it, I'm retiring.

Excellent track James, great bass, great keys and great singing.

It's brilliant.

I prefer yours to the original.

What did they use for drums? A typewriter?

Congrats on the debut of your bass.

okay had another go at it and started from scratch, i was going to throw everything at this version but i pulled back a bit, i'm still not decided if i should add to it, when i began i intended to have about 8 vox tracks another 8 guitar tracks all layered into it, but ended up with no guitar except bass and only two soft vocal tracks. i might make more additions but for now i'm leaving as is. hope its not too boring for you lol but it does get a bit wacky at the 2.30 mark or thereabouts.

Oh, yeah, this is killer! I love your solo productions Jim. Sounds great on good audio too.

Fantastic job on your first run with the bass! Glad to see you are using your fingers, and I love that cranked treble sound. You need to continue!

This one stays on the PiePod!

This is excellent. I love all the elements - even the bass! Lol. You use it well to keep those fluttering and ethereal synth parts grounded. Great panning on the vox too. A really professional sounding job. And I like the way the softness gives way to all that mayhem!

And the first version wasn't bad either!!! I quite liked the raw edge on that one.
