This is my favourite Disco song. In fact, it's one of my favourite songs full stop. As disco as it gets!  :D

I'll get a bit of disco drum and bass going. Send you a file.

I'm getting rather worried about you Tim, do you like Barbara Streisand?

Cool. Disco is all about the bass, so that's the right start point. I'll sprinkle wah-wah and phaser all over it and hand it over to old mirror balls, lol.

Like Streisand? What are you suggesting?!!!! Lol. Funnily enough, I detest her. I once had the misfortune of watching Yentl. What an awful film. I hated the way they kept misting the camera up every time her big conk came into shot. She has a very good voice, but her song choices aren't great. I just like the songwriting in 'Evergreen', even though it makes me blub. And 'Woman in Love' is a good song, even though it's really just the Bee Gees. Her 'Enough is Enough' song with Donna Summer was awful though. Hang on... I know a bit more than I should... lol

I'm not a Barbara Streisand expert!!!! HONEST!

I do like The Wizard of Oz though. And disco. And interior design.

Erm... I'd better shut up now, lol

Now here is a song with a sound that is near and dear to my heart! And I've been voting for an electronic fest these past few elections.  8)

I'm a big fan of acoustic instruments, but in the past few years I have really come to appreciate the sounds you can get out of an old casiotone. I love their limitations, plus some of the sounds are simply great. And I hear great sounds in spades here! A mix of old and new.

Great lyrics too, and James your voice somehow always seems to fit no matter what the style.

cheers guys,

Okay, discophiles. I've just posted an unfinished disco piece in collaborations. I was pretty pleased with my bass on it, but it never went any further.
