My Love Is In The Trash Can - Rot Band - *FOUL LANGUAGE*

Nancy Rost did an EP as Nancy Rot about compost and I was inspired to do one about garbage. Her EP was acoustic punk. I ended up collaborating with Nancy and Paul Turrell (Bob Hooper and Gerard Teacup) for a 5 song EP that eventually turned into 7 songs (and counting.)

I'm not sure this is what we'd define as punk here, but I like the song so we'll see what you think.

Cool song & lyrics!!  What a mouthful, but you got them all in there quite tastefully !  I think it does have a acoustic punk flavor there...  nice collab!

Great little song. You get a lot words out very quickly. After that I think you deserve a break from your one song a week schedule. This will do for this week. Well done -  great collaboration.

Cool little tune!!! I think it could fit into the acoustic punk category, especially with those lyrics!!
Nice collab!!!

Sounds like skiffle punk to me! Great fun, you could definitely put this under punkfest IMO. Love those backing vocals, I assume those are real drums? If so, they are great. Excellent!

Cheers,

Yes, real drums. I did the acoustic track and the vocal on the BR-900. Sent to Nancy who did the backing vox (she co-wrote the lyric (the bridge is all hers)) and then Paul added the drums. Since I didn't use a click at all he did a magnificent job. In fact anyone who needs near professional drums, bass, guitars or keys would do well to hire him. He's in or near London. On top of that he mixes very very well. Uses pro-tools though. *sniff*

At any rate, thanks for the comments.

Well performed collab Pigfarmer! and co! Absolutely, acoustic punk and the tune is just fabulous both in lyrics and melody. Fine sound on the snare drum!

This has a great vibe. Frantic, acoustic punk. The 'live' drums are a big bonus, but the vocals and backing vox are just great. Way to go!
