Quote from: side effect on April 17, 2010, 06:30:27 PMThe Skids where one of my fav bands of that time and Stuart Adamson was one of my greatest ever guitarist, sadly he,s passed a way, love Big Country and still listen quite frequently.

With you on that John, very sad that he died so young and obviously troubled as well. I loved Big Country and the Skids (and the Armoury Show as well, with John McGeoch another guitar hero who died too young). Saw them all live.

Back to your track - I love this! Just listened again and it really kicks the old behind. Great job.

Cheers,

Nigel

Four tracks - it's all you need for this kind of song. The punk grind of the guitars is perfect, and those are great melodic lead overlays. I think the vocal works brilliantly too. This is very accomplished stuff and a great addition to the fest.

Yes! Punked up rockin'!

Nice high energy punk song. Great guitar tone, nice work on the mix. I really like your accent on the vocals, I think it works real well. I liked this one a lot.

OLD school punk...a dash of Wire, a touch of Skids, and a way you go!  Love the lead lines and the snotty vocals.  Tell the politicians to get on their Bikes!  Does anyone British still use that term? :)

Wow.  This perhaps the purest of the punk songs so far in the Punkfest.  It's new (instead of nostalgic), angry, immediate, and a visceral reaction to what's going on in the culture.

The above was written while listening.  Going immediately back for a second go, and a download to the piePod.
