This is very beautiful. I love the way it builds and the vocal harmonies are excellent. The guitar intro is very good and the keyboard work is nice as well, it's very atmospheric. A lovely song, well done to you and your friend.

Cheers,

Your voice works so well with the atmospheric backing of the synth and guitar.  Would love to hear bass and drums added to this.. after it stops and re-starts just past the middle of the song.  Nice job!

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

A truly beautiful song and performance, loved it all.  Willie

Great song, full of strong emotions. Nice work on vocals and lyrics. I love the guitar intro but then it kind of gets lost in the mix. The vocals are outstanding and the harmonies really work well. I can really hear the emotion in your voice. great job on this one.

Wow, very sweet indeed!!  Luv the guitar and piano and backing strings, and then your fantastic intimate voice and harmonies!  I get a Fleetwood Mac Christi McVie vibe as well ~ beautiful work!

Quote from: Ted on April 16, 2010, 09:36:58 PMA very successful song. I listen to a lot of "world" music, and sometimes I can tell what a song is about even if I can't understand the words.  I think a non-Anglophone would connect emotionally with this on the vocal delivery alone.
very cool observation...thank you
