Thanks for the bump FuzzFace - this was the very first recording I made on my BR600. I was so embarrassed of recording my voice that I drenched it in reverb. Nowadays i don't put too many effects on my vocals...I've grown to accept how I sound - it is what it is -  and some of you Songcrafters seem to appreciate it even though Mrs C is still my biggest critic when she hears me singing.  Often thought of re-recording this song to see if my 7 years on Songcrafters has helped me improve in any way but there's enough versions of One on here now.

Here's my second post which is the first track I did on the BR600.

The wife kept interrupting me when I was doing the vocal track saying I sounded awful and out of tune.  I think you can hear the nerves in my voice!! Women!!

I think I over-processed the vocal when I mastered the track trying to make it sound better.

Any comments are appreciated.

Thats when I say "put a dang set of headphones on and get in here.... then tell me what you think...lol...
I would love for people to hear alot of the "stars" vocals raw, without music, and no embellishments...even Taylor Swift don't look that good in the morning (not that I would know...but I am guessing! )
yes, there are alot of vocal enhancements on this but this is the beauty of the home recording studio...experimentation... find out what you like and what you don't as much...
it sounds cool to me...
