I had problems with the mp3 here - it's only 50 seconds long when I downloaded it but it's OK on your myspace page. Really love the feel here and particularly the vocal sound and harmonies. I think Ted is right - that lead guitar is a little distracting at times when the vox are going, a bit of dynamics in the way it is mixed would really help. But it's a really infectious song and you have a nice sound going here.

Tell us a bit more about the Dead Models - there's not much info on the myspace page.....

Cheers,

Nigel

Hi thanks again for the comments and advice, it's all helpful for us going forward. There's not really much to say about the band, we all come from Romford in Essex and have played in different bands in the same venues. Myself and Paul the other vocalist started getting together recently and recording on the Mbr so we thought we'd have a stab at writing and these are the results. On Sunday I took the MBR to a warehouse in Epping and we layered the bass onto the tracks then we miked up the drums and led the leads under a door and into a 12 track situated outside on the grass, we then
mixed a drum sound and went from the headphone jack of the twelve track into the guitar track on the MBR and recorded as he played along to the tracks. We have about another 10 tracks to record but gigging is the priority now so hopefullyby June we should be off.

Ah! (I asked on Rosy how it was recorded :D)

Like this one too - I agree about the lead guitar, there are some really good bits though, so don't ditch it completely, just figure out where it steps on the vocal and sort it :)
