"Little Wingish" - Instrumental

Like many of my personal offerings (non-MoO in nature), this didn't start out as something I was going to post.  The story goes that I'm trying to get into the deep editing of the BR-1600 (shelving EQ's, parametric EQ's, multiband compression, kitchen sink button), and I needed something new to tweak till the cows come home.  I forced myself to do very unBlooby-like behavior while mixing this one (and gave little thought to the drums yet).  In the end, I couldn't resist a dirty, shreddy lead (and a hippie outro). Sorry about the dirty bass, but I was just listening to some Allen Woody-era Gov't Mule, and I went for that Ampeg SVT sound.

As you can tell, I've never learned the song properly.  One of these days...

Man 30 seconds into this, and I can't resist it. I totally dig the bass, nothing to be sorry about there. This is exactly what I could listen to until I go to bed in about 8 hours. I can't comment on the production because you're a light year ahead of me, but I can tell you that this sounds fantastic, and I can only dream of this kind of talent.
