I'm glad you said that BB;  as a prog fan I didn't want to appear to have a one-track mind!  It reminded me a little of one of my current favourite bands - Porcupine Tree.  Only in terms of style.

It's a bloody good song.

Amazing collab, great production on this one. Drums really propel the song, nice synth work.
Lyrics and vocals are outstanding. This one is a keeper, I keep listening to it and I keep liking it more and more.

You've done a zillion different collaborations in many genres.  But for some reason, this seems have a different kind of ORH vocal touch--on the chorus in particular.

New territory!

Very powerful performance both lyrics, singing and playing. I loved the solid sounds, too.

The synth melody makes me think of 'Save a Prayer' by Duran Duran, lol. But this is deep and weighty stuff. There's some real power in the chorus chords, and lots of interesting stereo soundscaping going on. The lyric is the right one for the song, and James sings it beautifully. I get a bit of an 80's vibe too. Maybe a bit Ultravox. Very nicely worked and put together boys.
