Excellent. It does sound looped, but not in a bad way.
It doesn't sound like a punk track (instrumentally) to me, but I agree that punk is an attitude. The Holy Modal Rounders were Proto Punk in the 60's. All with bluegrass instruments, traditional songs, and a punk attitude.

I have some acoustic punk that is definitely attitude over sound. I might post one as well.

So in short, very interesting song and likeable. Post it if you feel it applies. It's your opinion that really matters.

Not really punk but it's almost the Silicon Teens! Great fun, love that arpeggiated sound.

I like how the word "boom" is expressed with so calmly. It really works. Rather than releasing the tension as you'd expect, it provides no release at all.  It leaves you feeling that somewhere there's still a ticking time bomb, contemplating boom!

Great song.  I love the chorus. 

Anyone who can get the word "juxtaposition" into a song is doing well.

Its probably a little bit too articulate for punk BUT if YOU think its punk then thats fine with me.
