Title: NEXT TIME
By Nelson

Verse 1
I watch her as she walks on by,
everyday, at about this time.
When the sun refuses to shine,
Out of jealousy....

And I tell myself it's gonna be your day,
It's time to step up to the plate.
Made up my mind, just in time,
to see her walking away.

Bridge:
So don't live your life
waiting, for tomorrow.
Cause tomorrow is promised
 to anyone.
If there's something in your heart,
set it free.
And prevent yourself this pain
and misery.

Chorus
Well I guess next time, I won't wait so long,
to make up my mind to carry on.
I heard time waits for no man,
somewhere in some old song.

All though life can be such a jagged little pill,
You grit your teeth and enjoy the thrill
And if miss the moon you're still,
among the stars.

Verse 2
Got a message just the other day.... an old friend has passed away.
We hadn't been in touch..... for quite sometime.

I wish that I had made the call,
had a beer and discuss it all.
good friends are......so hard... to find.

This song seemed familiar, but it's evolved so much. I really like this version Nelson. Fantastic. I wouldn't change a thing.

Fantastic song Nelson, fantastic.  Your vocals are deadly, that chorus is super fine.  Guitars are really rocking.  Nice piano.  Its great just the way it is.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Yes - I love it, Nelson! You got this to the point where it all comes down to symantics and personal opinion, and that is tough to do. Well done, great job!
