on a hill faraway, sits an old chevrolet
its fenders hang down from its mount
how  i loved that old car, when i think of all those nights
when its mirriors came falling apart

til the wheels should leak or dislodge
i will cling to the ol chevrolet
and trade it someday for a dodge

in that ol chevrolet painted red with no lights
and the windows all cracked from its place
it was on that chevrolet, the engine suffered as she died
all the rust that she had cant be erased
