Reminiscent of the anti-war protest songs of the 60's, unfortunately it is also relevant in today's world.  I think this is one of Tharek's finest (this and 'In a Day')
It's amazing, watching you grow in your craft, Mr. 'T'.
Keep on keeping on!  ;)

Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Again, testimonial to how good a song this is, your treatment makes this ready for radio (in the late 60's).  This would have been  a monster hit back in the day.  Heck, its a monster today.

Killer, absolute killer! Love the chorus-y vocals and CSN&Y harmonies, the guitars are excellent and the haunting strings add a lovely delicate touch. And it's a real WOW as the harmonies build. Crystal clear production just makes this even more of a joy. Fabulous.

Cheers,

Nigel

Your production skills never ceases to amaze me Hooper, and those harmonies..wow!!!

I loved Tharek's original, one of my favourites of his, and you have provided a cover of a standard that this great song truly deserves...it is simply wonderful.

I am getting goose bumps listening to this, so can't imagine how Tharek is feeling!!
