Out Of Control

I'm thinking flares, long moustaches and smoke machines for this track, it has a great early rock 70's feel.  The line "This love is out of control" is a classic for this type of tune. I'd like to know what you did with the vocals, there is a good doubling sound happening there - maybe a bit of delay, or just a cool vocals patch?

I'd like to hear the solo a touch higher up in the mix.... but I always think that....

There are only 12 notes, how hard can it be?....

Hi Kevin the vox are very simple, sang the first vox and then the second but only the end of the line, lower the volume on the second and then usually pan it left or right to give a slight bigger soundscape. thanks for your comments.

Great guitar tones and playing... and the vocals are really good too!  Good song and nicely put together.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

It sounds much better with the bass cranked up. But I'm not sure this drum arrangement works for me.  IIWYP, I'd have the drums more sparse during the verses--perhaps the same pattern, but at half the tempo. If you want to send me a WAV or MP3 of the song without drums, I think it'd be fun to take a crack at a rhythm arrangement on the Micro BR or maybe Garage Band.

You really sing this stuff well. A set of stadium-filling, rock lungs for sure, lol. Great guitar work too. I agree with the comment that the bass could have been made a bit more prominent (or the left panned guitar turned down slightly). That's just nit-picking though, because this is big and superior rock. Some tasty drum programming going on too.
