Dear Speed Demon, there's a true story, behind this tune.

Some....MANY MANY!!! years ago, I was at Roberto's house, with some of our friends. It was dinner time, so I proposed to cook a wondeful and easy Sicilian recipe, "Spaghetti con le acciughe e la mollica", in English Spaghetti with Anchovies and Bread Crumbs. You may find the real recipe here:

BUT 

...unfortunataly I didn't remember the recipe very well  , in few words I exaggerated with bread crumbs, so everybody had the not so nice sensation to eat spaghetti with....SAND!!!

A nightmare!!!

The fact that after so many years Roberto composed Sand Pasta probably means that he still doesn't forgive me for one of the worst experiences in his life!!!

Ha - I was thinking the same thing! I could imagine Jim, Mike and Tim sitting 'round a fully packed houka on a reed mat! We're all too old for that shit now, but we can still dream.
