This is pretty much there for me Nelson, the balance is spot on. You have the vox just right for me, and this song really works now, and as Tony says, the balance of the guitars is perfect. The hook is fantastic - that La di da is so good, and the vocal parts are really good.

I still like those little string stabs. The piano is nice but I think the first couple are a bit complex, they overpower the killer "la di da" a bit, esp[ecially in the first chorus. But as I said earlier, it;s all personal opinion here. If it works for you, it works! The main thing is the vox really shine through and your performance is excellent here.

Cheers,

Never heard the original so don't know if this is an improvement. All I can say is it stands up as a very good song as it is. More strings may spoil the feel you have, as they do just fill out the spaces your vocals have left. The vocals really work well together, with the double voicing giving a perk up and new interest to the lines you are singing. Nice one.

I really like the evolution of this song. It's been a fantastic ride thus far.

Nelson. It's called Bosko Schwartzitis. And we all suffer from it. Ask John Lathropp.

You mould your children the same way.

Guitar and voice for this one for me. It's the hardest to do. But you have the right method.

It's stunning.
