Hello Kari,
This is a lovely song. I really like your guitar playing and your musical arrangements. I like your vocals especially the chorus... it sound really sweet.
I think it would be great if you put in a part  where you speak Finnish, maybe in the bridge.
I think it would add a special treat, for the listener. Maybe repeat one of the verses in Finnish.
Your lyrics are very expressive and paint a vivid picture, of the "Afternoon Shine".
Great concept for a song. Keep working on the lyrics, they are good but keep pushing yourself.
I hear something special in this song.
Great Job...

I've been listening to this one all afternoon - Fabulous song, Kari!

I understand how hard it is to record vox and guitar at the same time - You did the best job here. It was a great recording in all respects. And the overdubs were very tastefully done.

Yes - I love it.

Relaxing, well built and well recorded. I would say it sound someway "fresh, clear", I hope it has a sense for you...only, the voice should be louder, IMHO...

Ciao!

The delicate vocals sound perfect to me, the levels are right as far as I can hear.  This is a very special song, it gets inside your head and I don't want it to end.  I'll just play this on repeat for about an hour I figure.  I really like this Kari.

Great stuff, I really enjoy your music,  "red moon" is probably my favorite, after recieving the translation.
are you using an electric/acoustic plugged into the BR? the tone seems nice and bright
I love it

Thanks to everybody for the kind and warm feedback! I think my next step is practice singing without playing same time. I just haven't done it that way much. And thanks to cuthbert for that tip and helping me in a couple "questions"- I'll try that...

I forgot mention that this was first time when I used my brand new Martin 000-16gt left hand electro/acoustic gtr. It was recorded unplugged without effects on Sony ECM-DS70P condenser stereo mic (like vox). I really like the sound of that guitar. It is the first acoustic guitar I purchased in twenty years - well, I didn't play for ten years...

Bautifully done song!!!  Summer is only about 2 to 3 months away for us, and by the time we reach the summer solstice will be looking @ 21 hours of daylight.  Although I did bring to northwest Alaska 2 Venezuelan hammocks (chinchorros) there are not very many trees to hang them on.... I am quite partial to the major 7ths myself = totaly awesome instrumentation, and yes the vox could be a tad higher via my headphones.
