I am going for the record of longest song title  :)
Just a little song about a man looking back at his past and not that happy about what he sees.
Not a personal song about me just an observation on life. Any comments or suggestions are always welcome.

I Didn't Know Time Would Go By So Fast

I used to know it all,
I used to be so smart,
When I was a younger man
I never was so lost,

Many years have past since then,
Looking back I see,
Someone I don't recognize,
Could that man be me,

    (Chorus)
I didn't know, all those years ago,
Time would go by so fast,
Now I know, Time doesn't slow,
What you reap you sow, from your past

Things I have done,
Haven't made me proud,
Looking back now I see,
It should never be allowed,

Many years have past since then,
Looking back I see,
Someone I don't recognize,
Could that man be me,

      (chorus)

Life was so simple then,
Or so it seemed,
Youth is wasted on the young,
My youth was just a dream,

      (chorus)

Hello Dj
First as far your song's length, I have a song with the same number of words, in it. Lol
" The Sun Is Always Somewhere Shining On The World" http:///www.myspace.com/4nelson
I started feeling so bad about it, that I was thinking of changing it "Shining on the world".

OK enough of the craziness.
Like Gary F , I can relate to the lyrics and the music is perfect for the song. The over all vibe is so cool even though the lyrics can be a tail of caution, for the younger folks... it still has an upbeat old school Rock groove to it.
Well done...
