AndyR

Just found this...

I LOVE it! :)

I too have "fond" memories of "the recorder" - it put me off music for a couple of years, I was convinced I was a talentless nobhead.

I'm only here now because the new music teacher in the "big school" when I was 11 chose me to join his choir (one of only 3 out of 32 in my class). I was gobsmacked and thought he was off his rocker, but I loved it and was away...

BUT if I'd heard anything like this when I was 7 or 8, I might have felt there were other uses for that wretched thing I was forced to carry around...

(I did actually get converted about 10 years ago when I was a "tutor" at a summer music camp, there was this lovely lady with a load of recorders, and we rockers all laughed... and then she showed us what they would do... I spent much of my spare time that week with her... happy memories, all brought about by hearing this :) I do remember her saying it was sometimes difficult getting enough people interested so that you could play ensemble...)

Found your website - lovely stuff.

Wow! I've never hear a recorder sound like a proper instrument before! There's some amazing talent and skill here. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful artistry and I've said it before where else can you find such diverse talents. Willie
