Glad you weren't doing other things as would not have had the pleasure of listening to this.

Great songwriting as ever, and this has your unique style stamped all over it.

That's the way it is Henry, when the inspiration hits ,you have to roll with it or you may loose it forever ! Nice job!! Great vocals!!

Henwrench: This is really good.  It hints of a few of my favorite bands and songwriters--I won't say which ones.  But I wonder if they're your influences as well.  A partial list is here in my comparatively loquacious introduction.

The bass is perfectly understated. I love how the chorus shifts to a surprising key or chord (I can't tell which, and I don't want to ruin the magic by figuring it out).  The backwards effect--is that a snare?  Very cool.

The simple guitar solos are wonderful, but it gets a bit distracting when they compete with the vocals.  IIWYP I'd probably mush it up a bit (with distortion, excessive reverb or something) and subdue it in the mix during those parts.

Another excellent song, henwrench...loved the dynamics as you go from soft to loud, dug the reversed cymbals (Audacity?), singing and guitar - the works.

I'm running out of superlatives - I'll go with top-shelf! :)
