(punk song in the works..rough draft acoustic..too late to fix the singing errors, my neighbor already banged on the wall a couple of times. I dont think he likes this song too much)

i walk into the room and, I see theres something on your mind
i crack a smile and you just stare  must be serious this time
I start to circle you cause, i know exactly how you fight
will I stand my ground, or will i kindly step aside

i wish that you and I could go back to the good old days of dancing and late romancing
I wonder if we'll ever have we had when we fist fell in love at 17

was my favorite year, i discovered beer, how we were both so worry free

you make a sigh noise thorugh your nose, while you lock your eyes to mine
i see the anger building up, i know that you will charge in time
I watch you unfold your arms, and let them fall down to your sides
I start to brace my self, preparing for the bumpy ride

round two has just begun now, as we are holding back our tears
question my parent skills, I tell you "look into a mirror"
you say "thats it we're done" and I watch you throw away your rings
and now im wondering why do we say such hurtful things

Wow, what a great song!

You have some real energy there, Johnny. I really dug the Eastern-European feel to the guitar rhythm on the verses, and you punked it up great for the chorus.

Personally, I wouldn't change a thing - this sounds about perfect to these ears.

I really like this. I'd love to collaborate with you on this--bass and drum arrangement.  (Warning: I'm the forum's--possibly the world's--slowest collaborator.)  If this was done with a metronome, I could get working on the drums first. Let me know.

I need a few days to make some time for it, but sure I'd love to make this sound better

Oh, man! This is a great song! You take such a serious encounter, and inject humor without even trying. The tempo changes just accentuate the emotional tension. There are so many ways you could go with this, musically. Nice work, indeed.

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.
