 a collaboration between 13starz+ and oldrottenhead has been posted at the following url

was originally called battlecry and was an instrumental piece by 13starz+ , ive just sang over the top.

This is very nice oldrottenhead. Nice lyrics you have come up with. In relation to the recording I think you have mixed your voice a bit too loud. In my speakers I have the impression that it distorts sometimes, especially on the "tuned to the moon" part.

Scotland is putting out some nice sounds I would say. ;)

i think your missing some of the pathos and humour in the song, i would love to hear someone like  steve perry sing it, but part of the humour is, most singers in this genre would sing with an americant accent even if they came from iceland, so for this one its a wee guy fae glasgow that cannae sing fur toffee. even with his 12 year old daughters knickers on he still can't reach the high notes at the tuned to the moon bit, so excuse the distortion and pain in the voice but it is deliberate.
