Me again...I like the Byrds a lot, but they weren't this good very often.

This is stellar on all counts.

Sorry, had to get that off ma chest...  :)

Thanks for the responses and comments, guys.
Love this place? You bet!

The song was tracked and mixed in an older version of Sonar, not too much different than the newer version of Audacity.  The 12-string acoustic guitar was recorded in stereo… one track using the on-board mic and signal chain of the Micro BR,  the other track DI via a Roland Cube amp with a bit of chorus and run through a FMR Really Nice Compressor to get more sustain.  Equal levels L/R.

Vocals were recorded using the on-board mic of the M-BR, using the M-BR like a channel strip and tracking into Sonar.

Looking forward to more music!

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Thx for the explanation. I'm now starting to think like you - might look into the BR800 and keep the MBR for acoustic recording and vocals.

Cheers,

Nigel

There are no words left, they have all been taken by the other posters.  This is a monster song straight from 1966.  Its like I am traveling in time, nothing to hold on to, just this wonderful song.
