You are right, a slight prejudice..... I just love the idea of a guy called "Nigel" living in Nashville!

PS just listened again, this is fantastic!!!

Great song and great production work, I love all the sound effects it adds to the song. A great sea shanty, I love all the different vocals in the chorus and the lead vocal half spoken and half sung really makes the song. The lead guitar at the end sounds fine to me then again I am a guitar guy. Nice work on this one.

A perfect example of painting a picture with a song. The natural sounds, pipe, squeezebox, strings, and background voices give it an unmistakable nautical feel. I can almost smell the salt air. Terrific lyrics - a story well told. Love the arrangement and performance. Well done, Willie.

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Hi all, a shameful self bump I'm afraid. I'm really pushed for time at the moment and stand no chance of adding anything new to the PirateFest so this song is about as nautical as I can get........Willie

Dear lord, how the hell did I miss this one.  What a fantastic song. This is the best song I have heard all week.  I love it and am glad I found his one.  The start of many listens.  Great vocals, holy crap man.  I love Piratefest!  The best of times, hearty, manly times.  I raise a glass of grog to you good sirs.
