Hi all, I suppose this should have been in the collaboration category but here it is anyway. I've done some guitarwork on a track written and recorded by the bass player in a group I used to play with. He now lives in Nashville and I live in England, isn't this interweb thing truly wonderful. I think the guitar at the end needs putting further back in the mix but you know what ego's lead guitarist's have. :D  Willie

this is bloody magic , really atmospheric music and i love the vocals to bits. and youve put it in the right place, its a finished song, you would only put it in collabs if you wanted someone to add to it.
bloody stellar, guitar is a bit loud in the mix at the end tho.

Great stuff. Very well written song, lots of clever chord progressions and lovely instrument parts - I like the flute/recorder/tin whistle part (whatever it is). Excellent production as well, great use of the stereo image. Nice sound effects as well. So much to like, it's a gentle grower.

And what do you mean it has no title? I think "Nigel's Song" is a great title for a song.

Cheers,

Nigel

Sorry Ferryman, you're right It's a wonderful title but do I detect a slight predjudice. ;D
Most of the song was played by a guy called Nigel and recorded in a studio in Nashville and if they can't get it right then there's no hope for the rest of us! Willie
