I've been an absentee for a while. Trying to get back into the swing of things. I'll probably never catch up with everyone's songs, but I'll hit as many as I can.

In the mean time, some of you heard the piano and vocal demo of this one on the Lyrics forum. The mix still needs some tweaking, but it's gettin' close. A couple friends from another site provided the acoustic guitar and pedal steel.

This is a really nice song Frank.

Very well arranged, performed and produced.
That steel really gives it a lot of emotion man.

Kudos on a job well done!
It ain't pretty being easy.

With the misdirection at the beginning, and the twist at the end, you sir, have been found guilty of committing Country Music in the first degree!

Are you thinking of putting some vocal harmonies in there?  I think that would really put some punch in the choruses.

BTW: I'm jealous that you have friend who plays pedal steel.
