It's a pre-history soundscape.

Now, that I really enjoyed.  I can hear that on a wildlife show or a big budget film score.  Very pro sound quality too.

Pinedog! Long time no see. This recording is brilliant! The production sounds so professional and the arrangement is so polished and complete -- nothing lacking and nothing superfluous -- just perfect! I too can see this being used in a big budget film. Well done!

Yes - I love it. Excellent soundtrack worthy production - I liked the wind instruments and the sound of the howling wolf!

Very freakin' cool, man!

You guys are all FAR too kind as usual.

Thanks for the listen at SC ORH...you have so much music...good music...i will never get to hear it all. Jemimas Kite is still my fav so far...

hey Paul! good to see you here and not all alone over at the old Yahoo Morgue site. Always enjoyed your tunes when you posted links. Thanks for the kind words!

hi 64...really sorry for the long lapses...i just have to set limits for online time. For what it's worth though i really miss you all (looks for emoticon of guy raising beer glass) Glad to see the lights still on here...i know there were some problems but they appear to be resolved. That's another reason i've been scarce. Still recovering from writing 500 reviews at the old Mixposure.com and watching it crash. As for the new song, i bow deeply to all those comments! Getting picked up for a film score would be a hoot eh? Might take the money and get a new set of barn boots! Many thanks my friend. Your enthusiasm is a shot in the arm.

hey mark! thanks for the listen and review. This album is gonna be pretty strange but fun. The flute is a new one i bought from Odell Borg at High Spirits Flutes. It's red cedar and in the key of G so it's pretty big...takes alot of air even for an old windbag like me. Good to hear from ya man.

Andrew...thanks...epic is a great compliment. It's really a pretty simple song.

Thanks Gary...glad you liked the tune. It was fun to do but took too long!

hey Nelson...just over at your SC page. Tribal was indeed the feel i was looking for...and kinda spooky and timeless. Glad to see you are still around.

This place looks good. I'll try my best to get around to hear what you guys have been up to over the next week. Got some goat kids due to be born tomorrow!

Hi Pinedog

I think it was you to blame for pointing me in the direction of the fine group of people.  I still hear from a few of the old stalwarts from the Yahoo site - but only a few.
